In 1990, I graduated summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America with a degree in Human Resources Management. After graduation, I began my professional career with the Internal Revenue Service. My experience with the IRS laid the foundation for my legal career which started in 1996 when I matriculated at the University of Baltimore School of Law. I received my Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 2000. I graduated in the top 10% of my class and was inducted into the Heuisler Honor Society. I was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December, 2000 and began my legal career in Elkton, Maryland where I practiced in the field of trusts and estates, real estate and business law. In 2005, my family and I relocated permanently to Calvert County where I have enjoyed growing my practice and becoming a member of the community. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Adult Daycare of Calvert County, Inc, and am a softball coach with Calvert American Little League.
